All-in-One Year Calendar Version 2.0 Available in the App Store Now!

Thanks to the release of iOS 4.2, we can finally support syncing with iPad’s built-in Calendar app and external calendars set up on the device, such as Exchange, MobileMe, Google, and CALDav calendars. Version 2.0 also includes features like markup legend, fiscal week numbers, and navigation buttons that many users strongly requested.

A brand new icon was also created because of the frequent “year 2010 only” confusion from the users. The original app icon was designed to show the current year number like how the Calendar app shows today’s day number. Anyways, we hope you’ll like the new app icon.

As the number of features grows in this app, we should all agree that it deserves a new name: All-in-One Year Calendar, for sync, events, markups, notes, holidays, birthdays, fiscal week number, email, print, tons of calendar personalization, and more. But it doesn’t stop here, we will continue to add more exciting new features!

Thank you for all your support and have a great holiday season!

More Fantastic User Reviews of Holiday Year Calendar from the App Store

Simple and very useful  ★★★★★

by Rune Haugland (Norway) – Version 1.2 – 25 October 2010

This app is wonderfully simple to use, and does its thing spot on. Rune, Norway

Nice fun app  ★★★★★

by Syevie (UK) – Version 1.2 – 25 October 2010

I like it. I like fiddling with colours and patterns over dates. Like half term for the kids etc I can map out all holidays in one colour and still mark over them with another.

Also it does 2011 too so still a good buy even though I initially thought it was 2010 only. But it carries on.

You can add info to dates so you remember why you marked that date with a tiny heart/star etc.

Overall a nice easy to use app.

CEO’s stress less helper.  ★★★★★

Version 1.2 is Now Available

Holiday Year Calendar version 1.2 is released today. One major update in this version is several export functions, which let you send your calendar to family, friends, or your boss easily through in-app email, and more. We also added an option to quickly manage markups for consecutive days in a row or column within a month by simply dragging your finger across them. This comes in handy when you want to apply markups for several days in a row, all the Tuesdays for some reason, or an entire month, etc. In addition to a few other small features, we have put a user manual and some FAQ into the Help page to be more user friendly. Hope you guys will like it.

Holiday Year Calendar 1.1 Released and Made on What’s Hot in More Stores

Holiday Year Calendar version 1.1 was finally released on August 30th, after a long wait in line for Apple review. The update includes integration with iPad’s built-in Contacts, week number, one more markup style – background color, holiday support for 8 more countries – Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Singapore, and more. Some of the features were requested by our users and others are things we hope you’ll enjoy. :)

We have also been making an effort to localize the app. Right now the view and edit birthdays etc. from Contacts and calendar view are fully localized to use your own language settings. Holidays from non-English countries are displayed in one primary language and English. In the future, we will definitely localize the whole app.

So naturally we are delighted to find out that the app has made onto the What’s Hot section (Productivity) in more App Stores: Italy, Hong Kong, Netherlands, and Switzerland. We hope more international users will discover the app and find it useful as we have worked hard to support them.
