\nThe new look is a lot more functional since there is now a button you can press to bring up the mark up menus. They also combined most of the pop ups to just be within swipe range instead of opening a lot of different Windows.
\nThe best feature, is how the new mark ups that have been added allow you to multi mark a date without having to worry about cancelling out other marks. The old version basically had 3 zones you could mark. Text, background and stamp. Now there are lots of marks that can overlap without interfering with each other. Like upper stamp, lower stamp, middle stamp, right stamp etc…
\nMy favorite addition is probably an underrated one. It’s the ability to “convert all” marks into another Mark. I used to get stuck having to recreate a mark-up so that they don’t overlap and cancel each other out. Not only is there a variety of new mark-up “zones”, but there is now the bail out ability to convert all Mark-up’s into a different Mark-up all together.
\nThe new background features are really nice. They look really clean and professional. The blur effects and tile effects add some variety to the pictures you may want in the background. Notes are very handy. VERY handy indeed :)

\nVery organized work. Legends section to name every color, scribble, and highlight you ever had. Easily visible. Daily notes at the click of the day. Notes are printable as well. Calculates exactly how many, specific highlights or mark ups, you have. You able to view a list of only those mark ups if you like.
\nGreat for people who like to use symbols and colors. Tons of selection and variety p. Emojis are supported. Shareable friendly with other apps. Calendars are free! Full featured. There’s an option to donate, which is worth the 99 cents (optional) purchase to create a calendar. You can still create the same calendar free, even if you can’t donate.
\nQuality work. Prints nice and fully formatted into a big page. Fonts are Changan,e. Backgrounds can be set to whatever picture you want, which is great for goals, since you could set that as your background.
\nOnly thing I’d like to see, if there isn’t one already, is a community forum for this app so that we can all share calendar ideas and techniques. Everyone has their own system of marks and highlights and we could all benefit from helping one another :)
